Tzu-Yu Yang deserves applause for her two magnificent instruments from 1806 and 1815 respectively. She takes full advantage of the chromatic variety of these five- and six-pedal pianos, which are capable of modifying the sound separately for the right and left hands. The articulation is crystal clear and the phrasing is luminously transparent.
